Naggar- Green Alpine Paradise


Naggar is one of beautiful setllement of the Kullu District.
Naggar is at distance of 26 KMS from Kullu and 22 KMS from Manali. It falls on left bank road between Kullu and Manali.

Approaching Naggar: Better option to reach Naggar is from Manali.
Starting from Manali many stations: Jagatsukh, Haripur, Larankelo fall in between. The road moves through beautiful Alpine valley. The Aplle trees are also notable on sides of road.
The best way to travel in this area is "Bike". The real beauty and fragrance in air can only be felt on Bike ride.
The ride to Naggar take you away from the ceowd of the Manali into peace and beauty of nature. The Naggar is main attraction to Foreigners.

Main attractions: 
1. The Naggar is known for its Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery: 



The art galley has paintings of well known Russian Painter  Nicholas Roerich.  The Roreich has painted beauty of Kullu valley into his paintings. The gallery is know managed by Rroerich Tust under H.P Govt..
The ArT Gallery has become main attraction of the Naggar.
Near the Art Gallery is a Museum which has paintings of the Roerich as well as various other art collections showing culture of the Kullu.





2. Another Main attraction of the Naggar is " Naggar Palace":
This beautiful palace is know known as Naggar Castle and is hotel under HP Tourism.

It was built around 1406 A.D by Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu. It has know turned into heritage hotel and is must visit place.

The other places of interest in Naggar are: Gauri Shanker Temple.
Tripura Sundri Temple

Naggar is a beautiful travel destination which will definitely sooth your eyes with its beauty and give peace to you with freshness of air.
The Cottages are available at Naggar which makes it suitable for tourists to stay at a Naggar.
